Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate or commonly known as Lexan or Makrolon, is an exceptionally strong material which boasts a very high impact resistance 250x stronger than glass and only half the weight.  Polycarbonate is available in a clear and tinted grey. The sheets are available from 1mm to 12mm thick.

The material is fire retardant and self extinguishing, making it a good choice in fireproofing and ensuring compliance with fire code regulations.

Polycarbonate is an excellent product in applications that require a high level of strength and impact resistance, such as: security screens, heavy duty machine guards, vandal proofing and safety barriers.
