Polyethylene - HDPE / UHMWPE

Polyethylenes or commonly known as HDPE, UHMWPE or Boat Board, are light weight and very durable with a high impact resistance. The sheets are available in Black, White and Green colours, with a thickness ranging from 1mm to 50mm.

This material provides good chemical and electrical resistance and almost zero water absorption. Combined with being food safe and the ability to be weldable, this is an excellent product to build water tanks, spill trays, conveyor parts and chute liners.

Polyethylenes have a low coefficient of friction that provides good abrasion resistance and provide a 'slippery surface' which is ideal for applications such as wear strips, guide rollers, scraper blades and chopping boards.
